A New Review - The Broomfield Workforce Center - This is the Place to Begin Your Job Search!

This is our first in-depth visit to this vibrant Workforce Center web site, located in Broomfield, Colorado.

This center is located at 6650 West 120th Avenue (see Google Map) , in Unit A1 in the heart of vastly expanding Broomfield.  Residents of this state are truly fortunate to have these amazing employment assistance centers available to them at no cost. The center also provides services to employers, assisting in bringing job seekers into contact with them.

Their web site is extremely well organized, concise, and easy to navigate.  We particularly like their front page feature entitled "Upcoming Events" which features important hiring events, The Job Club and a link into their complete Events Page.

The Job Seeker Services page leads the visitor to information on resources such as computer resources, staff assistance, and training services.  From this page we clicked on the additional resources link to take a peek - and we were not disappointed:

  •  An Unemployment Video
  •  Layoff Transition Services
  •  Governor's Summer Job Hunt
  •  Federal Bonding Program
  •  Educational Opportunity Center

Just to name a few of the services.

So where to begin if you live in the Broomfield area and you are in search of a job?  Best advice is to make your first visit to the Workforce center. Walk through the door, sign in - meet the staff and get started.  You can register on-line as well at the Connecting Colorado employment web site - but believe us - please visit the center in person first chance you get.  We guarantee that you won't feel stigmatized upon your arrival.  These folks are friendly and all business - your business!

If you still have some questions visit their Frequently Asked Questions page - and then schedule a visit!

We come into contact with many people who are faced suddenly with starting all over looking for work due to a myriad of reasons, including layoffs, company failures, and other reasons not foreseen by them.  The experience is disorienting, and often shakes a person's confidence.  Although our web site provides many employment resources, tools, listings and links directly to employers - when asked - we always respond the same - "Do yourself a big favor - one you won't regret.  Visit your local Workforce Center to begin your new adventure!"
